National water broker & Playford investee company Waterfind Pty Ltd has won the Marketing Excellence Award at the
2008 Water Industry Alliance Awards. Waterfind has launched a new water indices information service for irrigators and water industry professionals. The indices provide a visual representation of historical trading data and also the key influences such as rainfall, water storage and allocation which may affect the supply and demand for water and consequently price.

Australian seed investor Playford Capital has sold its investment in Maxamine Inc. a global company founded in Australia 11 years ago, to international consulting firm Accenture (NYSE:ACN).

Playford Capital Investee e-Channel has announced that is has secured a long term contract with Flight Centre. e-Channel's flagship product, Dynamic Creative, will play a key role in optimising Flight Centre's online search marketing campaigns. Dynamic Creative allows paid search advertisements to be created from available product inventory.
